SUMMARY:Dancing for Alzheimer's Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:This event is Sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church and Portside at Grande Dunes.  The Church is hosting\nthe event in their beautiful Wilkes Hall.  The First Presbyterian Church has a very active Alzheimer support group. Portside at Grande Dunes is a new Retirement Community including independent living\, assisted living and a memory care unit. Both sponsors and the Alzheimer Association support the Ballroom Dance Preservation Society in advancing awareness to the many physical\, mental and social benefits that ballroom dancing can provide.  Funds raised by the Ballroom Dance Preservation Society will be used to host free dances at Portside Grande Dunes.  These dances will be open to the community and residents of Portside. Those who can dance will be encouraged to do so while those who can not dance will be provided with the social benefit as well as receiving joy from the entertainment.
